Blub World – Universal Terms & Conditions

Applies to: Blub World, World Teen Parliament (WTP), World Teen Awards (WTA), and all associated digital, print, and event-based activities (collectively referred to as “the Platform” or “we/us”).

 

1. Nature of the Platform

Blub World, including the World Teen Parliament and World Teen Awards, is an independent, goodwill-based educational and inspirational initiative designed to encourage teenagers to express ideas, share innovations, and celebrate talent.
We are not a government body, accredited institution, or legal authority and make no commercial or employment guarantees through participation.

All our initiatives are voluntary, community-driven, and aimed at positive engagement only.

2. Voluntary Participation & Parental Control

1. All teenagers must participate strictly under parental or guardian control.

2. No teenager is allowed to participate in any Blub World initiative without written parental consent.

3. If at any point the Platform requests proof of parental consent, the participant must produce it immediately. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification, and the participation will be treated as unauthorized and invalid.

4. A participant’s submission or registration will be considered as an implied declaration that such consent has been obtained from their parent/guardian.

5. Parents/guardians are solely responsible for the safety, supervision, and digital well-being of their ward during any online or offline engagement.

If parents or guardians are uncomfortable with these terms or feel participation could pose any risk, they are strongly advised to refrain from participation.

3. Participant Responsibility & Conduct

1. All views and opinions expressed by participants in any form (video, text, audio, etc.) are their own, and they bear sole responsibility for such content.

2. Blub World, WTP, or WTA shall not be held liable for the views, statements, or materials submitted by any participant.

3. Participants must not misuse the name, logo, or initiatives of Blub World, WTP, or WTA for personal promotion, unauthorized representation, or misleading communication. Any such misuse may invite legal action.

4. Elected MPs, Influencers, or Awardees must obtain written approval from Blub World before making any public or press statements on behalf of the organization.

   • Their statements do not represent the official opinion of the Platform.

   • They alone are responsible for their words and actions.

4. Content Submission Guidelines

1. All video submissions to the World Teen Parliament must be under 59 seconds. Entries exceeding this limit will be automatically rejected.

   • Even if such videos appear online, they will not be considered valid for selection or certification.

2. It is strongly recommended that teens submit their entries via their school’s official social media accounts after approval from parents or teachers.

3. Each participant affirms that:

   • Their submission does not include copyrighted or plagiarized content.

   • They have followed YouTube’s content guidelines and community standards.

   • They surrender all rights (present and future) of their video or submission to Blub World, WTP, and WTA for promotional, educational, and public use.

4. Misuse of the platform, names, or events for political, religious, commercial, or defamatory purposes is strictly prohibited and will invite legal action.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

1. All content, materials, videos, or creative works submitted by participants automatically become the property of Blub World, WTP, and WTA.

2. By participating, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, or display your content on any public platform.

3. Unauthorized use of our logos, names (“Blub World,” “World Teen Parliament,” “World Teen Awards”), or visual identity without written consent is prohibited and will invite legal action.

6. Participation Fees (Applicable to WTA)

1. For the World Teen Awards (India Edition), participants are required to pay a non-refundable participation fee of INR 999/- per category.

2. There is no restriction on the number of categories one may apply for.

3. Fees once paid are non-refundable, regardless of participation status, disqualification, or jury decisions.

7. Selection & Awards

1. Selections and awards are based on the evaluation of participants’ past achievements and content by an independent jury.

2. The jury’s decision is final and binding.

3. No participant can claim selection, recognition, or award as a matter of right.

4. Blub World, WTP, or WTA reserve the right to withhold awards in any category if no deserving candidate is identified.

5. Certificates will not be issued for disqualified or rule-violating entries.

8. Data, Privacy & Media Use

1. By participating, you agree that Blub World, WTP, and WTA may use your name, photo, video, and submission details for promotional or educational purposes.

2. We take reasonable precautions to protect personal data, but participants understand that online risks such as hacking, unauthorized sharing, or misuse are beyond our control.

3. We cannot be held responsible for any misuse of data or content by third parties.

9. Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer of Liability

1. Participation in any Blub World initiative is at your own discretion and risk.

2. The Platform does not take responsibility for any:

   • Technical issues, data breaches, or network failures;

   • Emotional distress, reputational harm, or disputes arising from participation;

   • Misuse or misinterpretation of content by others;

   • Any kind of injury, loss, or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from participation.

3. Blub World, its team, partners, and affiliates are fully indemnified and held harmless against all claims, costs, or damages arising from participation.

If you or your guardians are uncomfortable with any of these risks, we request you not to participate.

10. Amendments & Updates

1. These Terms & Conditions may be updated or modified without prior notice.

2. It is the participant’s responsibility to remain updated with any changes.

3. Ignorance of revised terms shall not be accepted as an excuse in any dispute or legal matter.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

2. All disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Udaipur City, Rajasthan, India.

3. Participants from outside India agree that they will not initiate or pursue legal action in any other country or jurisdiction.

   • Blub World is a small educational initiative and cannot engage in legal proceedings internationally.

12. Final Declaration

By registering, submitting entries, or participating in any Blub World, WTP, or WTA initiative, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and accepted all Terms and Conditions.

• You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

• You have obtained full parental or guardian consent.

• You will not hold Blub World, WTP, WTA, or their associates legally responsible for any consequence arising from participation.

• You agree to automatic acceptance of any future updates to these Terms.

Blub World exists to promote creativity, leadership, and learning among teenagers.
We are a small, independent team with limited resources trying to do good work in education.
If you feel participation in our platform may endanger, discomfort, or inconvenience your ward in any way,
we sincerely request you to refrain from participation.

World Teen Parliament (WTP): International Terms of Engagement & Global Disclaimer

NOTICE TO INSTITUTIONS AND MEMBERS: THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT. BY PROCEEDING WITH ENROLLMENT, PAYMENT, OR PARTNERSHIP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

1. THE "GYM MEMBERSHIP" PRINCIPLE: ACCESS VS. ENTITLEMENT

Participation in the World Teen Parliament (WTP) is an opportunity-driven access model, analogous to a high-end gym membership. Blub World provides the elite infrastructure, access to global mentors, and a platform of international stature.

• Self-Driven Outcomes: The realization of "results"—including student growth, portfolio building, and leadership impact—is strictly contingent upon the student’s proactive utilization of the platform.

• No Spoon-Feeding: WTP does not provide "pedagogical hand-holding," "spoon-feeding," or individualized "chasing" of students. WTP provides the global gateway; the student must choose to walk through it.

• Institutional Verification: Prospective partners are encouraged to review WTP’s official YouTube channel and social media archives to experience our unedited, long-form methodology prior to enrollment. We do not offer free pilot sessions or trial periods.

2. DYNAMIC GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT & VOLATILITY

WTP operates in real-time coordination with sitting Members of Parliament (MPs), Diplomats, and Global Authorities. These individuals manage volatile, high-priority schedules beyond WTP's control.

• Schedule Fluidity: All sessions and masterclasses are subject to last-minute cancellation, rescheduling, or speaker substitution due to legislative emergencies or diplomatic duties.

• Force Majeure: Blub World is not liable for failures or delays resulting from acts beyond its control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, geopolitical unrest, internet outages, or technical failures of third-party platforms (Zoom, WhatsApp, LMS).

• Acceptance of Uncertainty: Enrollment signifies an institutional readiness to navigate the unpredictable nature of real-world global governance.

3. ESTIMATES, MODIFICATIONS & NON-COMMITMENT

All curriculum highlights, session counts, and featured speakers mentioned in promotional materials or proposals are illustrative estimates and not a contractual guarantee. Blub World reserves the absolute right to modify, substitute, or remove program components at its sole discretion to ensure the program's relevance to current global policy cycles.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & BRAND PROTECTION

The World Teen Parliament (WTP) name, logo, methodology, and all proprietary content are the exclusive Intellectual Property (IP) of Blub World.

• WTP Voting Debates™ Format: The unique structure, rules, and logic of "WTP Voting Debates" are protected IP. Institutions are strictly prohibited from organizing, replicating, or hosting these debates independently.

• Mandatory Infrastructure: All authorized WTP Voting Debates must be conducted exclusively on the official online meeting links provided by the WTP technical team.

• Legal Action: Any unauthorized organization of these formats or brand dilution will be considered a material breach of IP rights, making the offending party liable for legal action and immediate termination of membership without refund.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT & BEHAVIORAL TERMINATION

WTP maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding conduct during interactions with global dignitaries.

• Diplomatic Decorum: Students must adhere to the highest standards of respect and professional decorum.

• Unilateral Termination: Blub World reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership of any student or institution that engages in behavior deemed disrespectful or harmful to WTP’s global relationships. No refunds shall be issued in such cases.

6. FINANCIAL & LEGAL FRAMEWORK

• Strict No-Refund Policy: All partnership, membership, and Chapter fees are 100% Non-Refundable and non-transferable under any and all circumstances, including but not limited to student non-participation or scheduling conflicts.

• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blub World’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fee paid by the member for the then-current academic cycle.

• Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the Laws of India.

• Exclusive Jurisdiction: All disputes arising out of or in connection with WTP membership are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India (313001).

7. DATA PRIVACY & MEDIA CONSENT

By enrolling, members consent to the recording of all digital sessions. Blub World retains all rights to these recordings for archival, educational, and promotional purposes. WTP adheres to global data privacy principles (including GDPR where applicable) regarding the handling of student information.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Enrollment in WTP constitutes an unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Engagement. We invite only those institutions ready to embrace the complexity, volatility, and high-performance requirements of a global-stature program.
