Updated: Oct 19, 2019

Lydia Sebastian, the girl who beat the IQ level of physicists Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. This 12 year old Indian-origin girl is currently based in Essex, UK and has scored the highest possible score of 162 on a Mensa IQ test.

As per Lydia's father, she had herself shown interest and searched online for the IQ tests she wanted to write. With this feat, she has joined the 1% of all participants to score the highest mark in the Cattell III B paper supervised by Mensa, the society for people with high IQs.

She has thrice read the entire series of Harry Potter books; has been playing the violin since age 4 and as per parents, started talking at the tender age of just 6 months.

The test of Cattell III B taken by Lydia Sebastian had 150 questions, which judged her comprehension through passages of texts, challenged her language skills, including analogies and definitions, and her sense of logic.

The maximum score that can be achieved by an adult is 161, and under-18 is 162. Both Hawking and Einstein are thought to have an IQ of 160.
